Fun in the Sun

The kids love to play in the water. We have a small wading pool, slip'n'slide, and sprinklers for
the kids to play in. Even Mandy played in the water.

Amanda loves to play outside. She played in the water for a short second, but she found other things to play with besides the water. She loves to play in the dog water though.


Landon is my water boy. He loves to play in the water. He enjoys a good Popsicle as well.

Shaylee is playing on the slip'n'slide. She likes to get wet on a regular basis. She tells me reguarly that it is too hot and she needs to cool off.
Brianna enjoys the water, but she would rather spend her time swinging, playing house, dolls, and stuff like that. She is my girly, girl.

My Testimony of my Savior Jesus Christ

When I was 15 years old, I had the opportunity to attend an EFY Conference at BYU. I was raised with the gospel, so when I first got to the conference, I felt that I was there to have fun and that the spiritual teachings didn’t apply to me. Well, I did have fun, that is true, but the testimony I gained of my Savior Jesus Christ through the classes, devotionals, and daily testimony meetings is more memorable to me than all of the activities I did. I always had the feeling that the church was important and that I had a Heavenly Father who loved me, but during that conference I gained the firm knowledge of my savior lives and that he loves me very much. I know that love is real by the sacrifices he made for me. He atoned for my sins, he died for me so that I could return to live in my Heavenly Fathers presence, and he is an example to me. I love my Savior and I will forever try to be like him. I am not perfect that is true, but with my Saviors help, someday I can be. I know that this church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, is true. I know my Savior lives and that he loves me.

The Four that Rule and Reign

Shaylee is 7 years old. She is currently in Jazz Ballet Dance which she loves and she is very good at as well. She will be trying out for the Competition team in August. She will be starting 2nd grade this year which she is very excited for. She loves reading and is currently reading the Chronicles of Narnia. She is a good babysitter and she loves to play with friends. A day doesn't go by in our house that Shaylee doesn't have a friend over. She is very social and is a very caring person.






Brianna is now 4 years old. She is very excited for August when she will be turning 5. She is currently in dance as well and loves to wear her little black dance shoes. She is starting Kindergarten this year which will be a big relief for mom. Brianna is very high spirited and loves to get a lot of attention. She loves to color and learn new things as long as it is based on her time. She knows her colors, her numbers, and several of her letters. She is learning to write her numbers as well as recognizing all of her letters. It is a goal we are working on before she starts Kindergarten.



Landon is my terrible two's child. He is a boy with a lot of mischief, energy, love, and more mischief. He loves to play with his Star Wars action figures and his favorite movie are the Star Wars cartoons. He loves to play outside and gets very upset when the weather doesn't permit him to be outdoors, in which case he gets hyper and drives his mom wacky. He is a very loving little boy too. He is very concerned for someone when they are hurt or upset. He loves to eat tomatoes and strawberries. He loves to follow his sisters around with a stick and keep them in line for me as well. We are still trying to get him to stop that one, but to no avail he still tortures and torments.






Amanda is our baby. She is now 9 months old and is learning how to be like her siblings rather quickly. She is crawling, she climbs stairs, she has to feed herself everything, and she refuses to eat baby food. She says mama and hi and she has two of her bottom front teeth. She is a mama's girl through and through. I call her my hip attachment, because truly that is what she is. We think the only reason she climbs the stairs is because of her strong desire to find her mother. She loves to smile and her siblings tease her immensely. She loves to go outside so that she can crawl to my flower beds to eat my dirt. She is also pulling herself up onto the furniture and walking. She is a very determined child.

Introducing the Hansen's

My name is Jackie and I married Jared on September 18, 1999. We lived in Roy, UT when we had our first child, Shaylee, born on March 22,2001. We then moved to Seattle, WA where we lived for 4 years while Jared attended graduate school. While we were there we had two more children, Brianna, born August 26, 2003, and Landon, born on October 22, 2005. After Jared received his Master's Degree in Psychology, we moved back to Utah into a beautiful home in Clinton. We had another baby, Amanda, born on September 13, 2007. Yes, we are crazy for having four children, but they are our pride and joy. Jared currently works for Wasatch Cemetery in Murray, UT selling funeral plans.
